Pros

  • Games are generally quick and easy.

  • Students who generally do not like math may be reluctant to play.

Mindprint Expert Review

This simple card game is a fun way to enhance students’ critical thinking and problem solving skills while practicing their math facts. Students can play competitively with up to three other students or play on their own using a timer. Players take turns using their four number cards to make consecutive whole numbers. For example, the first player must use any of the four cards and addition, subtraction, division or multiplication to reach the number one, the next player number two, and so on. Play continues until either the next consecutive solution cannot be made or an incorrect answer is presented. This is a great educational game to practice math facts and order of operations and it becomes increasingly more challenging as the game progresses.
