This is a simple app to help students memorize the values of the trigonometric ratios of two types of special triangles. Learning these values in trigonometry is commensurate to remembering math facts in elementary school--it can be a tedious but it is essential for success. In all three versions of the game, the goal is to match six pairs as quickly as possible and in less than one minute. The app uses only 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles and the six basic ratios: sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant and cosecant. Students always have the option to view an illustration of the two types of triangles with their corresponding sides if they forget. While this game is not a lot of fun, it can be a good, quick alternative to flashcards and the repetition will help students remember these important numbers.
