Squishy Human Body is an excellent set to enable interested science students to visualize and explore the key organs of the human body. The package comes with a transparent plastic model of a human being with 24 different bones and organs that fit inside in an appropriately-scaled model. Students are provided with plastic forceps and tweezers to pick up organs one by one and place them on the poster outline to learn the names and stay organized. Students may find the plastic tools cumbersome and struggle to follow the directions and appropriately snap the organs into their correct locations.Only the most meticulous and interested students are likely to keep the organs appropriately organized and read through the entire 33 page book. However, the pages are brightly colored and written in a child-friendly and engaging way so even students who page through the book from time to time will learn something. The pages describe how each organ functions along with practical and interesting facts. Students may be unfamiliar with some of the terminology, but most of it is either familiar or well-explained. Most students will simply enjoy playing with the squishy organs and snapping the bones together.
