Mindprint Expert Review

Pros

  • An entertaining, well-made and visually attractive toy that works on abstract reasoning and spatial perception skills.
  • For those who enjoy challenging puzzles, this puzzle has lots of longevity.
  • A fun game to work on collaboratively as a family.

Considerations

  • Wooden pieces slide out and around the rod, even after you have placed them, requiring you to use your other hand to keep them in place.
  • Coming to a complete tower is quite challenging, so students who are focused on the end result could find it frustrating.

Mindprint Expert Review

Logiq Tower is a challenging, yet fun 3-D puzzle that can be played either alone or as a group effort. There are 15 solid wooden pieces of different shapes that the player stacks around a central rod to build a complete tower. This is a great choice for strengthening visual problem solving and spatial perception skills for children and adults. Logiq Tower also exercises flexible thinking and attention skills, as even those with strong visual reasoning will need to work hard to solve it. There are four different levels, and most will need patience to solve even the first level. Also, the wood pieces slip out of place easily, requiring the player to have a steady hand and ability to keep things positioned, so this will not be a good choice for children with visual motor coordination weaknesses to play independently. The difficulty could be frustrating for children who need to find the solution in a single sitting. However, if your child enjoys the process but is not overly concerned about the end result, it is a great choice for practicing important logic and spatial relations skills. Logiq Tower is a good family game, and as a family, adults can support where the child might have some challenges without appearing to correct the child.
