RGB Express offers a wonderful twist on a traditional maze puzzle. Each puzzle has multiple different colored trucks which must pick up packages along the route and deliver them to the appropriate destination without crossing the other trucks' paths. Players must juggle the multiple route options for the different trucks to come up with a solution. The player traces the different routes with a finger and sees if the trucks make it to the destinations. Players will enjoy tracing a route and then watching the animation to see if the trucks arrive to their destinations. Players can make changes to the paths and get hints with their accumulated coins or through a purchase. The app has no reading, no timer, minimal negative feedback and will be good exercise for flexible thinking, working memory and spatial perception. Given that students can take as long and as many tries as they need, this app can be a good choice even for those who struggle with the skills. However, adults should be aware that the app grows progressively harder to make the game both challenging and achievable so students with weaker skills might need some support at higher levels.
