This is a cute Spanish app designed for children 5 and under which uses language immersion technique to teach colors, counting, fruits, and vegetables. The app has five games which require matching colors, a concentration game of 4 matches, drag and drop, and counting to 9. Knowledge of Spanish is not required to be successful, but children will have to figure out what to do by trial and the app does use some negative feedback. Children must complete all of the games successfully per round to receive the prize gift box which is an upbeat Spanish song accompanied by Juana, the dancing animated iguana. The app background is a busy farm scene and the music cannot be silenced. However, there is repetition and reinforcement of words and instructions, and children determined to play may acquire some introductory Spanish words and phrases.
