This is a good visual-spatial game with no timer and clean functionality. Students begin at the easiest level and progress through the many levels of multi-colored boards with multi-colored snakes. The object is to drag the snakes around the board so that the snake's color matches the boxes of the same color. However, students cannot cross snakes and the snakes can curl around in specific ways, so success requires planning ahead, reasoning, and spatial-perception. The game can feel confusing at first and there is no tutorial, but the beginning levels are instructional and students will get the hang of it quickly. The game has the added benefits of no timer, no move counter, and the option to re-set the board at any time, so players can take as long as they need to figure out each puzzle. Students can use keys they earn to access hints. Students with weaker motor skills could have difficulty at times sliding the snake the way they intended, but there is no move counter so they can easily move again. Overall, an enjoyable game that students will perceive as fun but adults can feel good because there is some valuable thinking.
