Glow Puzzle is a slow-paced visual puzzle game with over 700 puzzles to provide plenty of practice for students who enjoy it, but many may not find it sufficiently interesting to keep playing. In each round students are shown a different arrangement of dots with lines connecting them. The goal is to connect all the dots in the pattern shown without re-tracing any lines. Students must progress through the puzzles in order, and they can start a puzzle over at any time. There are five hints included and students can pay for additional hints. Unfortunately, the hints completely solve the puzzle rather than providing incremental help. To be successful, students will need to rely on visual reasoning skills as well as working memory as they plan their paths and try not to repeat their mistakes. Overall, this can be a good app to practice skills with no timer, unlimited "do overs" and plenty of puzzles but not all students will find it enjoyable.
