Mindprint Expert Review

Ein-O’s Box Kit – Acid & Base is designed to teach basic properties of chemistry by experimenting with pH levels. Students who enjoy science will be excited to see the equipment included in the box: pipettes, a pH color chart, microplate, litmus paper, vinegar, lemon water, and detergent. The goal is for the child to test different household substances for their pH. While this could be useful for curious students who like hands-on experimentation, parents should only use this product with constant adult supervision and a student mature enough to behave appropriately. The safety instructions warn to "perform in a well-ventilated area" and "avoid contact with mouth, eyes, and skin". Given the potential safety issues and that the directions are very difficult to understand, this product is best avoided by most families.
