Mindprint Expert Review

This excellent book is written by a child psychologist to help children struggling with anxiety. It is a very straight-forward, direct book with statistics and case studies. The author explores the most common causes of anxiety and phobias and provides practical strategies for addressing them depending on the type of anxious child. It enables adults to more clearly understand and pinpoint the source of a child's anxiety and provides practical ways to begin to address the problem. As with all books on helping and supporting children, it is not a substitute for therapy for a child who has recurring or prolonged feelings of depression or anxiety.
