How To Apply It!

  1. Some of these arrangements may require the student to have a formal individualized education plan (IEP) or 504 Plan, while others might be offered at the teacher's discretion.
  2. Sit in the front of the room or other preferential seating.
  3. Written versions of all instructions.
  4. Multi-modal presentation of material (visual, kinesthetic, etc.).
  5. Allow extra time when presenting new instructions or answering questions.
  6. Provide copies of class notes with key concepts or terms highlighted.
  7. Option to record class discussion.
  8. Written transcripts of video assignments and/or alternative assignments.
  9. Advance notice for class participation.
