Understanding Mindprint Skills: Support Needs And Nurture Strengths

  1. If you are not yet familiar with your student's Mindprint profile learn more first.
  2. For some students, often those who are really struggling to learn, it will be best to start by providing supports for the skill that is causing the most difficulty. Select from the skills listed on the next slide. You will find the top "go-to" strategies to use with the student across subjects.
  3. For students who are not struggling but also might not be living up to potential, you might want to to focus on the student's strengths. This can be an effective way to build self-confidence, increase enthusiasm for learning, and, of course, lead to better outcomes.
  4. The last slide links to strategies for students with an IEP or 504 Plan. You will find strategies to include in the student's annual plan.
