Mindprint Expert Review

Pros

  • A student will hear the names of the organs said aloud so they can hear the correct pronunciation
  • Students need to be accurate but not precise in where they put the organs

Considerations

  • Too easy to accidentally click on ads or upgrades
  • The section that explains the organ functionality does not work
  • Time runs out too quickly so students just learning will grow frustrated easily

Mindprint Expert Review

The free version of this app does a poor job teaching students human anatomy. The tutorial has a lengthy explanation of organs. The student should be able to click on the organ to learn about it, but the functionality does not work. To play the game, students must drag and drop each organ in the correct area on the body before time runs out. The names of the organs are pronounced with an unappealing machine voice. The organs rest on a background that will make the game unnecessarily challenging for students with visual weaknesses. Time runs out quickly and there is no option to see the correct solution when the game ends. Instead, a student must click on a discouraging button that says "I couldn't" to play again. Students could accidentally click on upgrades and advertisements.
