Mindprint Expert Review

7 Wonders is a very engaging, advanced card game which greatly rewards those willing to learn the complexities in order to play. In this game, each player is the leader of one of the seven great cities in the ancient world: Rhodes, Alexandria, Ephesus, Babylon, Olympia, Giza, or Halicarnassus. To win, you must build a civilization and create an architectural wonder. Players try to build their deck of cards where the cards represent various historical buildings including viaducts, arenas, farms, markets etc. After three rounds, each player will have created a mini civilization based on the cards. Points are awarded based on how successfully the chosen cards meet the needs of the civilization in areas such as commerce, military, or culture. The player with the most points wins. This is not a simple game to learn, but once mastered is quite satisfying as the game rewards forethought and careful planning. 7 Wonders is recommended for children who enjoy games of strategy, and not recommended to children who struggle with complex directions.
