Mindprint Expert Review

Pros

  • Protractor is easy-to-read with angles and their supplements provided in clear locations.
  • Lock button will keep pointer in place to make reading the protractor easier and for students to refer back to the angle.
  • Students who have difficulty sliding the pointer with precision can type in a number.

Considerations

  • On-screen ads are small, but they could distract some students.
  • Some students might find it difficult to take some measurements with a device rather than with an authentic protractor.

Mindprint Expert Review

This is a straight forward, easy-to-read protractor app. Users can enter the angle by degree in the in-app keypad from 0 to 180 and the protractor will highlight the angle in red. Alternatively, users can measure an angle with the device by sliding the pointer to the appropriate location. The app clearly displays the angle and its supplementary angle in the protractor and extends the angle line the length of the screen to make it easier to take measurements. There is a convenient lock button so users can lock the pointer for readings. For those looking for a protractor app, this is a good, free option.
