Mindprint Expert Review

Pros

  • This game can be fun as a single player game or with multiple players.
  • This game has kids practice listening and following directions, but they will just know they are having fun.
  • This game is easy to use, a lot of fun, and both children and adults could enjoy playing together.

Considerations

  • Players should be sure to play with people they like, as they will be in close contact with them on the mat.
  • This game may be frustrating for students that have difficulty differentiating left from right because it specifies that the player must use either the right or left hand or foot. However, this may be a good way for students to practice and reinforce this skill if they are playing independently or with children that have similar difficulties.

Mindprint Expert Review

This is a fun game where children can strengthen their ability to process and follow directions while being active and strengthening gross motor skills. A designated referee or the CD included calls out either a specific foot or hand that must be placed on a particular color on the floor mat, without the player’s knee touching the mat or without the player falling. This game can be played with one player or up to four players. This game provides an excellent opportunity to listen carefully and follow directions with increasing complexity while having a good time. It also provides an excellent way to practice social skills.
