This is a fantastic puzzle game that teaches creative thinking and visual pattern recognition. Students use a sturdy 8x8” steel board and 96 magnetic pieces of different-­sized, brightly-colored diamond shapes. There are three different-shaped diamonds with different size angles. Students replicate designs or create unique art patterns. The designs are challenging and fun to copy like "Balloon Race," "Slinky Snakes" and "Ants and Beetles." Fractiles 7 is a good way to help students work on attention and visual-spatial skills or for just some good old-fashioned imagination. The instruction book is colorful and understandable although the explanations of symmetry and fractiles are interesting but may be too complicated for younger children.
