Research unequivocally shows that physical exercise, a good night sleep, a healthy diet, and frequent breaks are all important for students to focus, feel better, and perform their best. Given today's busy schedules, not everyone can follow those guidelines on a regular basis. Fortunately, simple actions like smiling, yawning and standing up tall are also shown to cause physiological changes in the brain that have similar (albeit) positive effects.
